enlarging photos

 To ensure the best quality for your enlarged photos, please consider the following guidelines:

• High resolution images required:  For optimal results, submit photos with a high resolution (150 DPI or higher) to avoid pixelation and maintain clarity.
   

• Minimum image size for enlargements:  For a Pelemento single image enlargement up to 40 inches, a miniumum of 2500-5000 pixels is suggested.  For larger images it is ideal to maintain 500 pixels per 8" square.  
   

• Phone camera info:  Samsung Galaxy S4/Apple iPhone 9 or newer have 12mp or higher resolution and are acceptable for enlarging images to at least 40" or possibly larger.  Some loss of sharpness should be expected.
   

• Preferred file formats:  Please upload images as .jpg, .jpeg, or .png.
   

• Noise considerations:  Be aware that digital noise may become more visible when enlarging photos. Starting with a clear, high-quality image will help mitigate this issue.
   

• Post-enlargement sharpening:  Slight blurriness can occur during enlargement. We recommend sharpening the image after resizing to enhance detail and crispness.
   

• Use of professional tools:  For the best outcomes, we utilize professional photo editing software equipped with advanced resizing algorithms designed to maintain image integrity during enlargement.
